Splatter and Dodge at the sheds
Splatter and Dodge (collectively referred to as "Splodge") were Diesel 10's bumbling side-kicks and are now working for the Dock Railway.
Bio[]
Splatter and Dodge are two Diesel shunters who work on the Dock Railway.
The two worked on a British Rail interchange with the North Western Railway
At one point, they worked alongside Diesel 10. Diesel 10 referred to the two as "Splodge," claiming he didn't have time to say both names.
Diesel 10 wanted to rid the railway of steam engines, and Splatter and Dodge were complacent with his plans, regularly keeping a lookout for their boss and being present when he was scheming.
The two eventually grew tired of their boss, however, and when he tried to chase down Lady and Thomas, they refused to follow him. They drove into a container and were taken onboard a container ship and shipped to the United States. They were taken to Bigg City once Casey Jones made a deal with their owners.
The next day, in Bigg City, the container arrived. Members of the Dock Railway quickly released them and took them to the main BCDR yard. Casey Jones had them sent to Bigg City Rail Repairs for modifications.
They both work on the Dock Railway now-a-days.
In 2013, Splatter's horn was replaced with a K5LLA.
Persona[]
Both engines are fairly simple-minded and tend to banter. Splatter is the more talkative of the two, while Dodge is more intelligent.
Basis[]
Splatter and Dodge are based on BR Class 08 diesel shunters, except that they are fitted with buckeye couplings, air brakes, equipment racks, and electronic bells for work on the Dock Railway.
Livery[]
Splatter is painted purple and gray while Dodge is painted olive and gray. Both have their names painted on their sides in white, and are heavily weathered.
