Agav is a Russian locomotive, and somewhat of a lazy slacker.

History

Agav was built in 1963 for the Russian Railways. He was 1,435 mm (4 ft 8 12 in), meaning that he only operated from Kaliningrad to the Russian-Polish border. After the Soviet Union ended in 1991, he was retired and shipped to the United States where he was bought by a small shortline railroad in New York. He was fitted with new AAR Type "E" couplings and a electronic bell for his use on that railroad. He then was sold and worked on several shortlines until he stopped working on them because of engine problems. He was saved from scrap by Casey Jones and brought to the Dock Railway where his engine's problems were fixed. He is usually seen as a trailing engine and on locals, or seen pulling Lawrence's passenger trains when Lawrence is not able to pull them (Lawrence does not like Agav only being able to go 59 mph). He speaks bad english.

Basis

Agav is based on a ChME3 locomotive, built by ČKD (Českomoravská Kolben-Daněk).
